YUKON XL Business Class Interior - More Progress We hope everyone had a warm and happy Family Day. We were busy this weekend, with our extended family at the shop, continuing to move forward on our Yukon limousine conversion. We have already lowered the floor, set up the chauffeurs partition with TV and finished all the wiring. The jump seats are installed and captains seats are ready for installation, once the limousine is complete. Next is the bar console that will be installed between the two jump seats. IT'S VINYL TOP TIME We are replacing the vinyl top on this 2007 Lincoln limousine. The original top had served the owner well for nearly 13 years and it's now time to replace it. As usual we found moisture, mould and rust under the top and padding. We treated the rust and bare metal and then began the process of replacement. YUKON XL Business Class Interior We are starting a conversion on a new GMC Yukon XL. A limousine is not always defined by it's length and this customer has a standard wheelbase conversion with the following features: Chauffeurs partition with flat screen Smart TV attached, rear facing jump seats, bar console, forward facing captains seats, hardwood floor, sound system with amplifier and subwoofers, mood lighting, hands free intercom and power ports. The first part of the job... is to remove the hump in the floor to flatten it out (see pics). This will allow for more comfort and interior space. Its been a long winter, but the time for some easy riding is finally upon us. Over the weekend we had a little meet up at the shop where Mitch Markowitz (aka Super Hippy) handed off the keys of his 85 Honda Rebel to a long time fan and motorcycle enthusiast. The world's biggest limousine... complete with a police escort! Supercar Blondie

In the wake of Oscar season, we always find it hard to believe that the incredibly talented Toronto native David Cronenberg has never been nominated by the Academy. We had a chance to work with the visionary filmmakers production on his 2012 film Cosmopolis, which is set primarily in a custom stretch limousine. The production company approached AHA to work on the limousine fabrication because they knew that we are the best in the industry and understand the art of integrating both form and function into a vehicle. We have had the opportunity to work with a number of production companies over the years and always love the unique challenges and design opportunities that they bring to us. 1974 Triumph TR6 Update! Since the last time you saw this 1974 TR6, our talented Elin Yakov has had his nose to the grindstone (and English Wheel) on getting the metal work finished for this body off restoration. The Limousine Centre is very fortunate to have Elin as part of our team; his passion for restoring Triumphs is unmatched. Our good friend Mitch Markowitz aka Supper Hippy, co-creator and co-star of The Hilarious House of Frightenstein TV show purchased this tired old car and brought it here for a 'Frightenstein' overhaul. The car was given a new crank and battery, graphics and Brasso polish by Mitch, Igor green paint, a new padded seat, dash gauges, police siren, spotlights, ground effects, skull hood ornament, bat wh...eel covers, custom license plate, spider web canopy and lots of love. The car and trailer, along with all the Frightenstein mini characters, will accompany Mitch to the fan shows that he appears at throughout the year. After nearly fifty years of continuous broadcast, the show is still going strong. Watch for The Hilarious House of Freightenstein reboot coming soon. Thanks to Mitch for bringing us such a fun and unusual project.

Our good friend Mitch Markowitz (https://twitter.com/IMTVSSUPERHIPPY) - The Hilarious House of Frightenstein's co-producer who also co-starred with Vincent Price and Billy Van - has decided to "Hang up his spurs." Actually, he hung them up about 32 years ago. This motorcycle has been on display in his private museum ever since (see picture). This 1985 Honda 250 cc Rebel was purchased new in South Florida and rebranded as a Harley Davidson police motorcycle for use on a televi...sion pilot. At the time they added a brand new police style windscreen, police type hard-body saddle bags, a chrome rear 'sissy' seat and chrome foot pegs. He personally rode it briefly in Florida. The bike can easily be converted back to its original condition and comes with the original Honda windscreen. There are 2234 miles (3600km)on the odometer including a couple of parades it was featured in. Has been tuned up and is ready to go. Serious enquiries only. $2200 or best offer. Call 416-633-8988
