I've been slowly opening up the past two weeks. Clients are encouraged to use whatever PPE to feel comfortable and will be asked to use hand sanitizer and fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire upon arrival. Please feel free to ask any questions about COVID-19 prevention or reflexology. Although my website's 'style' is looking a bit 'dated' it does answer a lot of queries too. It can be found at ahealingtable.ca.

Hey folks! I'm giving a talk today (Thursday) regarding how stress affects our health and how modalities like reflexology may help the body and mind. It's at the PEC Public Library, Picton Branch at 1 o'clock following with a Q&A at 2 o'clock. Or if you're interested to know about how reflexology evolved, its benefits or anything else, please come on out!... https://www.peclibrary.org//wellness-tune-up-reflexology-/

Does Reflexology work for everyone? Here's my 'lil tidbits on the subject... Like everything else, it depends on the person and the dynamics of the situation. Some people respond with reports the next day of ailments that get dramatically better and others simply enjoy the relaxing effect it provides during and following the treatment. And yes, there are some folks who this modality doesn't do much for. DYNAMICS - There are so many variables that go into why different thing...s work for different people. For instance, one Practitioner may work for someone better than another. Some call it 'chemistry'. RELAXATION - If any type of treatment helps a person relax, then it may help them heal. Relaxation, or 'rest and digest' is the first step towards a deeper healing. DIFFERENT MODALITIES - Reflexology has helped me a lot over the years so I'm one of those people that it helps quite a bit towards healing. And yet I do not respond to other modalities that I full heartedly believe in and I know work really well for others. It seems that as science finds answers to some questions, others questions take their place. So maybe for now, it can remain a mystery why different modalities work for different folks.

My website builder did some updates that didn't jive well with my 5 year old website design. :( And so, it looks a tad 'broken'. Although everything is still ledgible, please note that it is under construction and a NEW WEBSITE is in the works. I appreciate the kick in the pants, aka incentive, to finally update it. Thank you for your patience! https://ahealingtable.ca/
