Tonight at 5pm and 6:30pm Join Kootenay Jiu Jitsu Academy for some Kick Boxing and Jiu Jitsu by donation for the 2017 ANKORS AIDS Walk Fundraiser! This Health and Wellness Mini-Event is sure to be a lot of fun! Grab a friend and get out there! All levels welcome!

Volunteer Call Out! As we near the Scotiabank AIDS Walk Community BBQ event we are putting a call out to anyone who would like to volunteer at this annual community event. This year the BBQ is on September 16th at 10pm - 1pm at Lakeside Park in Nelson, and will feature chair and table massages by donation, Zumba at 11am by donation, Face painting and of course food and music. ... We are looking for anyone who would be willing to help with cooking/preparing food, general set up and some bodies to help out with various tasks. This will be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to engage with the community! if you are interested or would like more information please email [email protected]

This coming Tuesday and Thursday join Ankors West and the Kootenay Jiu Jitsu Academy in celebrating Health and Wellness with 2 kick boxing classes (Aug 29th & 31st 5pm) and 2 Jiu Jitsu Classes (Aug 29th & 31st 6:30pm) These class are by donation; Pay only what you can! This mini-event is a part of the ScotiaBank AIDS Walk Fundraiser with all proceeds going directly back into the community through the ANKORS foundation fund to help support those living with HIV/AIDS to assist ...with their healthcare and wellness needs. Come out and get active while supporting a great cause! The perfect opportunity to try out these great classes! All levels welcome!

On September 16th 10AM-1PM at Nelsons Lakeside Park Come out and help ANKORS reduce stigma, strengthen community and celebrate health and wellness by enjoying some food, music, Zumba in the park, relaxing massages by donation, free HIV testing plus more! Everyone is welcome! This Year we have the ever so talented and wonderful Natcha Perez back offering a Zumba Class at 11am in the park, this class will be by donation so get ready to move, shake and dance!... Karen Logan of Touch of Bliss Chair Massage will be generously offering her time and talents to participants in order to offer Chair Massages by donation from 10am - 1pm, she will also have tickets for sale for $2 that will enter you into a draw for a free massage. Let this wonderful massage practitioner drive your tension away!
