Atlantic Intercollegiate Equestrian League 07.10.2020

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 and Dalhousie moving the fall semester online, the Dalhousie Equestrian Society Lesson program will not be able to run in the fall.... However, our host barn, Owls Ridge Farm, will be having a new riding club this fall! It will be called the Post Secondary Pals and will be open to all Post Secondary students from all universities who are looking to ride. The Post Secondary Pals will be lessons and a few shows with classes ranging from novice to advanced. If you would like more information on this fun new club please send us a message or email [email protected]!

Congratulations to the our new president, Delaney Murray! Delaney is entering her fourth year with the AIEL and also is taking on the role of President of the Acadia Show Team this season. With her passion of all things equestrian, leadership skills, and knowledge of the league, we are very excited to have her to lead the AIEL for the 2020-2021 season.

2020-2021 SEASON UPDATE To the entire AIEL community, It is with regret that we announce the indefinite postponing of the 2020-2021 show season and reassessing for the winter semester. Many of our host universities have chosen to move courses online for the fall due to government guidelines regarding large gatherings and the health and safety of our members is our top priority. ... Atlantic Intercollegiate Equestrian League 10.07.2020

AIEL is excited to provide its current show date information for the 2020-2021 year. For the time being AIEL and individual team Executive's are planning for a regular season, however, as the COVID-19 lockdown continues to change we are monitoring each provinces restrictions and will act accordingly. As the new season approaches we will continue to update everyone on any changes in the show schedule which may still occur. Until then we encourage everyone to follow their provi...nces respective rules and regulations. It is our hope that if we all do out part we will have a full AIEL season to look forward to!
