Aikido class begins in Hamilton on AUGUST 4. Masks and weapons required. We will be following COVID safety protocol. No contact, maintain distance, don't come if you are ill in any way. Class begins at 7:30. Please come 15 minutes early to review rules and sign waivers.

Aikido Yoshinkai Canada would like to announce a change in dates for our upcoming Noriki Shihan clinics. Due to concerns related to the spread of COVID-19, the decision has been made to postpone this event until September. The new dates are September 11 to September 13, 2020. For those who have already purchased tickets and cannot attend the new dates, full refunds will be provided. For everyone else, we will simply maintain your registration. We look forward to seeing everyone in September!

Japan Trip: Kimeda Sensei is planning a trip to Japan with students from October 30 - Nov 10, 2018. The trip will include training in Tokyo, a demonstration in Tokyo, sightseeing in Tokyo, Kyoto, Wakayama, Osaka and Nara. Approx. price will be $4,000. Call Sensei for more details.

Christmas / New Year / Holiday Schedule: there will be no class December 26 or January 2. Other than that we will keep a regular schedule. Last class of the year: Sat Dec 30 First class of the New Year: Thursday Jan. 4

JODO class: Kimeda Sensei will begin teaching Jodo every Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 after aikido class. Drop in fee for visitors is $20 and covers both the aikido and jodo class. Jodo fee for current aikido member is $20 per month.

The Hamilton Dojo will be closed this weekend (Friday Dec 1 and Saturday Dec 2) due to Christmas event in the Culture Centre.

Saturday class is cancelled Oct 21. Sensei was informed last night of a scheduling conflict with the dojo. Apologizes for the late notice.

Kenshu classes in Oakville are cancelled for the time being. Sensei is working on a new schedule.

Schedule update: as of Oct 14 there will be classes each Saturday in Hamilton. 11:45 - 1:00pm. Non-Hamilton aikido students are welcome. Old AYC students always welcome.

Next Kenshu class is this Sunday. Last Kenshu before summer break is June 11. All at Shindokan Dojo in Oakville on Sundays from 10:30 - 12:00 Classes are open to all Yoshinkan practitioners.
