Professor and Dr. David Vollick began his journey at Bindner Academy in 2005. He achieved his third degree black belt in his 70s, and helps develop the Fusion J...iu-jitsu program. At age 83, he is our most life experienced student, and teaches psychology at Western University. He can be found in the dojo, and in coffee shops around town, sharing his wisdom with our students. John started his training at Bindner Academy in 2013. He has earned a black belt in Aikido, and is working on his black belt in Jiujitsu (someday!) He helps tea...ch in the kids and adult classes, and is very helpful in our school. John’s oldest son earned his junior black belt in 2019, and his younger son is training to grade to junior black belt with his brother soon. We are very proud of this dedicated Martial Arts family! Stuart started his martial arts journey at Bindner Academy in 2009. He tried a month of Jiujitsu, and then about a year of Aikido, then switching back to Jiujit...su, and has never looked back. He is part of our Covid warriors club, and trains weekly in the dojo. We appreciate Stuart, as he is a fine student and a lifelong learner. See more
