Before I sign off for a nice Christmas Break I just HAD to share these photos from a gorgeous Christmas wedding I recently shot! Joanne planned the perfect BRUNCH wedding and now I am in love with the concept! It was such an honour to get to capture their intimate wedding as her sister commissioned their marriage. It was cold and a little windy but Joanne and Darryl were so excitedly in love I don't think they noticed! Join me in wishing them nothing but the absolute best! Congratulations guys!

I had the most fun celebrating Vanessa and Kyle's marriage out on the Salmonier Line! It was cold and raining and foggy and windy but they stood through it all! These two are the sweetest people! Im so happy for them! Help me congratulate this beautiful couple!

I am honoured to get to work with Indigena on their promotional images. Lisa has developed an extraordinary product and brand and is an inspiration of a woman in general! She has a heart of gold and she is up to something and needs your help! Indigena is currently in the last day of the Buy One Give One campaign where when you purchase a product, she is donating a product to the service recipients of Stella’s Circle. Our goal is to donate $10,000 of healing products to the organization. Right now we are at $9500. We are so close!!! Thank you to everyone who has already donated and those who will help us today!

Last year I got a message about a young woman who had recently been diagnosed wth a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. The message said that she was an amazingly beautiful woman who was hoping to get some photos done before she took on her war against cancer. I had completed shooting for the year but when I heard her story I jumped immediately and within days I met Ashley for her shoot. (You may remember her from my post over at Aimee Nicole Boudoir (ladies only)) Th...e message didn't lie. Ashley was stunningly beautiful and one of the most genuinely kindest people I had ever met. Although she had just received devastating news she was joyous, grateful, and astoundingly positive. Ashley took on her fight with unmatched courage. I regularly checked in on her and her messages back were always filled with positivity and checking in on ME! One thing that stood out to me was Ashley's dedication to others. Throughout all of this she made it her mission to uplift others and to empower women. To say she made meaning out of life's lemons is an understatement. She always kept her sharp focus on the silver lining and used her journey to support and inspire other women and show them they are not alone. Recently we got the news that Ashley is now CANCER FREE!!!! After battling chemo, radiation, surgery, medications, scans etc etc she did it!!!!! This was her one year post diagnosis. When we got together for this shoot Ashley said so cavalierly "this didn't happen to me, it happened for me" as she updated me on the people she met and the new perspectives she gained. I don't think she thought much of her words but they truly show what an incredible person she is. After such a dark year she has come out of it only stronger. I won't forget that. Ashley said that "the main purpose of doing and sharing this celebration of life is to empower women to stay strong, fierce, have a voice, and to share their inner light. We never have to be alone and can lift each other up and be the light in the dark." Ashley sure is fierce and she is certainly a light in the dark...always. We were excited for a flurry of snow as she loves winter but we didn't expect the full on snow storm featured here. After you beat cancer though winter on the edge of the North Atlantic is child's play!!! Thank you Ashley for allowing me to play a small part in your celebration and for sharing your story and light with us all. HUGE Thank you to Abby Mya Makeup Artistry for helping Ashley look and feel her best for this shoot. If you need a makeup application Abby is your girl!

I’m so proud of two amazing women and artists with whom I have had the pleasure of having in front of my lens for their promotional shots!!! Both Jackie Sullivan Music and Clare Follett Music have been nominated for MusicNL awards!!!! Jackie has been nominated for The Citadel House Folk/Roots artist of the year and Clare for the Bell Aliant POP Artist of the Year and the Bees Knees/Posie Row POP Artist of the Year award! Two amazing women! Show them some love! :)

I am literally obsessed with these engagement photos of Ryan and Allison. It was cold, windy, foggy, and, at times of the day, raining but they came out and met me on what felt like the end of the world and absolutely rocked their session! The love is so real with these two. Please help me send them all the well wishes in the world...they deserve them!!
