The time has come to remove the dying ash trees at Royal City Park. Starting March 8, the service road and trails on the north side of the river will be closed... for three days. This will change the landscape of this beloved park, but we'll replant soon: https://guelph.ca//city-removing-ash-trees-from-royal-cit/ See more
Dear Guelph, walk with me #guelphishome This week I took a stroll around Exhibition Park! ... Did you know that Exhibition Park was the location for the Central Exhibition fairground from 1872-1915? It attracted 15000 people per day! This great neighbourhood is still highly sought after in Guelph!

Testimonial Thursday! | testimonial | noun | a formal statement testifying to someone's character and qualifications. Working with and representing my clients is a responsibility and an honour that I do not take lightly.
I did not write this - but WOW does it speak to my heart!!! Worth the read. Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening. Barely arrived on Mo...nday and it's already Friday. ... and the month is already over. ... and the year is almost over. ... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed. ... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends. and we realize it's too late to go back... So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time... Let's keep looking for activities that we like... Let's put some color in our grey... Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters... I'm doing it after... I'll say after... I'll think about it after... We leave everything for later like after is ours. Because what we don't understand is that: Afterwards, the coffee gets cold... afterwards, priorities change... Afterwards, the charm is broken... afterwards, health passes... Afterwards, the kids grow up... Afterwards parents get old... Afterwards, promises are forgotten... afterwards, the day becomes the night... afterwards life ends... And then it's often too late.... So... Let's leave nothing for later... Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments, the best experiences, best friends, the best family... The day is today... The moment is now... We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away. So let's see if you have time to read this message and then share it. Or maybe you'll leave it for... later "... And you'll never share it....
Imma let you finish but a full pizza is one of the best circles of all time.

Welcome to the Beach Street beach access .. also known as Jerrys Fries Iconic landmarks on this white sandy beach include the Willow Tree, the protected sand dunes and the view of Chantry Island (approx 2km off shore). Surrounding this part of the shore are historic cottage neighbourhoods tucked away amongst narrow lane ways and a lot of greenery. Beach front cottages dot the shore with board and batten exteriors, cedar shingle roofs, bright coloured trim and crus...hed pebble driveways. At The Southampton Tennis Club Beach Courts (2 minutes from here) there are 6 courts and 2 of them have water views Did you have fries from Jerrys this summer?
These masks fit so nicely.... play along!
Catching this view after showing property in Southampton... one of the last summer sunsets before Fall. This beach access is at South Street (off of Huron St). It is steps to Miramichi Bay, Bieners Bush (a great walking trail in the forest), the Southampton Tennis Clubs Warder Courts, the Lake Huron Waterfront Trail (an accessible trail that goes from Southampton to Port Elgin and back- perfect for walking/biking) is steps from here. This beach is steps from a lovel...y residential cottage neighbourhood and a five minute walk to newer home developments. South St beach is sandy and there are highly sought after waterfront properties dotting the shoreline. Where is your favourite place in Southampton to catch the sunset?
Guelph must plan for population growth of 50,000-60,000 over the next 20-30 years and 50% of this new growth must be within the already developed area of our ci...ty. This week for our Guelph Heritage Properties series we are featuring 13 Evergreen Drive - the Pagani House, designed and built by born and raised Guelph archi...tect, Richard Pagani in 1961. You will surely recognize the distinctive feature of this modern style property; the stunning barrel-vaulted roof, created through a collaborative experiment using plywood was achieved with the help of Paganis father, one of Guelphs leading contractors. This property is a two-story buff-brick and glass home and was officially designated by the City of Guelph in 2002. Moving away from traditional house design, the Pagani House features open space planning, emphasized by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking private gardens. The style is indicative of the International style architecture, where thin and large planes/surfaces are used for the structure instead of a solid mass, and an intended focus on minimalism. Pagani is also credited for designing the following local buildings: the West-Minister St. Pauls Church (built in 1958) and the Guelph Police Station (built in 1959). My colleague and I are so pleased to adopt the #Guelph Blood Donor Center on Fri Sept 25! We hope you will come and save a life with us. Did you know that 52% of people say they have been touched by the need for blood? Yet only 4% of the eligible population donates. To make an appointment to donate blood you can visit www.blood.ca & select #Guelph & select the date of Sept 25. Or click: ( https://myaccount.blood.ca/en/donate/select-time )... On the website are basic eligibility instructions, and information on the blood donation process.... It is very easy, and will only take about an hour of your time. The goal of the day is to get 44 donations. Please help us reach our goal and help save lives! Any question, please dont hesitate to reach out. All are invited to join us!
