After multiple constructive discussions with the DELG, we resumed operations yesterday at 11 AM. We are taking the initiative to mitigate any potential risks of bursts by improving the existing preventive measures that were already in place. In the past few days, we established a very good working relationship with the DELG and will be collaborating closely in educating the suppliers we work with to make sure that the material entering our yard is clean. If you have any inqu...iries, please reach out to us at [email protected] Thank you

Following the incident that occurred on September 24th at our Port of Saint John installation, health officials have concluded that there were no explosions and that no workers were exposed to toxic environments. It has been determined that the cause of the fire was an undetected nonferrous chunk of material that overheated. AIM is taking the situation seriously and with a view to prevention, is currently reviewing which technological changes can practically be made to prevent this from happening again.

Last week our Regional Manager Michael Cormier along with our Site Manager Ryan Cyr, presented a donation of $1,000 to the Harbour Lights Campaign. Each year, the campaign raises funds for local food banks by lighting a Christmas tree on the Saint John Port. We are proud to support this wonderful cause.
