Robert Frost is a great poet. My favorite of his poems is "The Road Not Taken. You can use its lesson almost daily! The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,... And the last EOS key component - TRACTION!! The most successful business leaders are the ones with traction! They execute well, and they know how to bring focus, accountability and discipline to their organization. The inability to make a business vision a reality is epidemic. "Vision without Traction is merely hallucination"

What is Process? Your processes are your WAY of doing business. Successful organizations see their WAY clearly and constantly refine it. This secret ingredient is the most neglected of the Six Key Components. Most don't understand how powerful process can be, but when you apply it correctly, it works like Magic and results in simplicity, scalability, efficiency and profitability!! How does that sound??!!

Issues - these are the obstacles that must be faced to execute your vision. One helpful by-product of strengthening the first 3 EOS components is transparency. Execute them properly and you will have created an open organization where there is nowhere to hide. As a result, you will smoke out issues that have been holding you back! The Issue Component represents a huge opportunity! Time invested to adequately solve issues in a company, will save two to 10 times that amount of time in the future!

The best leaders rely on a handful of metrics to help manager their businesses. The third EOS key component - the Data Component - frees you from the quagmire or managing personalities, egos, subjective issues, emotions and intangibles by teaching you which metrics to focus on! The Scorecard tool is a weekly report which you will learn to create and implement into your company. It will allow you to have a pulse of your business on a weekly basis, predict future developments and identify when things have fallen off track! A very powerful tool!!

The second key component in the EOS system is "People" Successful leaders surround themselves with great people! A great team is: The RIGHT people in the RIGHT seats The EOS People Analyzer tool helps to identify the right people who share the same core values and simplifies how you hire, fire, review, reward and recognize people in your organization. ... The Accountability Chart is a powerful tool that will help you structure your company the right way while clearly defining roles and responsibilities holding people accountable for their individual seat.

The first component in the EOS System is "Vision" Are your staff all rowing in the same direction? Chances are, they're not!! The more clearly everyone can see your vision, the likelier you are to achieve it. Successful business owners not only have compelling visions, but also know how to communicate those visions to the people around them. The EOS Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO) tool is used to simplify strategic planning by distilling your vision into simple points to clearly define who you are, where you are going and how you will get there!
