We likely all remember our high school Economics class about SUPPLY and DEMAND. There is an interesting situation in the heating and cooling world right now due to the pandemic. There is a lot of DEMAND for FURNACES right now, especially as we move into winter. There are also amazing DOUBLE REBATES in place right which is also boosting DEMAND. ... The issue is that like other products and industries, furnace manufacturers have also been impacted by COVID-19, limiting the SUPPLY. HVAC manufactures have delays or outages on parts, and even when they have the materials they need their output is reduced for reasons we're all aware of. So, what’s my point? Due to the lack of SUPPLY, delays, and pent-up demand, the double rebates STILL need to be claimed by December 31st, however, installations are now extended until March 31st! So, that is great news for homeowners. If you are considering a new furnace, now is the time to at least start the process.
