To Our Valued Patients, We are excited to report that Alberta Health notified all regulated health professions (which includes chiropractors) that effective May 4, 2020, professions who are ready to execute all requirements of their respective regulatory college can return to practice. At this time massage therapy is NOT included. While this is exciting news, we must follow the guidance of our governing body, the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC). Sinc...e there are many changes in how our office will operate, including rules of physical distancing, screening individuals, new PPE requirements and more, we are taking one more week to prepare and ensure the safety of our staff and our clients. Our official reopening date will be Tuesday May 12th. Regular clinic hours prior to this pandemic will remain the same. Please call and leave a message this week and we will return your call to book an appointment. ***PLEASE NOTE*** COVID-19 symptoms are similar to influenza and other respiratory illnesses. We are going to temporarily close the clinic for two weeks and reassess from there. We understand the inconvenience. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. **Attention Vantage Point Chiropractic Patients** Please accept this notification of a slight rate adjustment, effective April 1. The adjustment is a result of a large increase in our lease as well as our day to day expenses. For the last 5 years, we have charged the same rate for chiropractic services despite rising expenses. As much as we would like to maintain rates for another year, we find that we must increase them to provide quality chiropractic care to our many valued... patients. The increase will only effect subsequent chiropractic visits and will not impact senior or student fees. Initial visits will also not be impacted. Massage rates remain the same. The new chiropractic fee for a subsequent visit will be $45 per visit (previously $40). We value you as patients and want to continue serving you. Thank you for understanding that this price increase means that we can continue to maintain the superior standard of our services for the future.
