Oh behalf of the Airdrie Pro Rodeo and the Airdrie Pro Rodeo Royalty program, Happy Canada Day!! As our royalty program would have been celebrating our 25th... anniversary today. So we are sharing some photos from our past Royalty to help celebrate Canada Day. With the unforeseen circumstances, we were not on horseback riding in the Canada Day parade, participating in the sponsor visits, taking part of grand entry, and all of the other Canada Day celebrations at the rodeo ground. With this year being so different hope to remember the great times and look forward to what the future holds. Because we are missing our Rodeo Family, POST what YOU are up to on this Canada Day! Hello All, Unfortunately, as the president of the ARRA I am the bearer of some bad news. The 2020 Airdrie Pro Rodeo has to be cancelled until further notice. The Covid-19 pandemic has just put to much pressure on the financial stability of not only the rodeo itself, but on our proud sponsors themselves. We just cannot ask our partners to invest in our program for 2020 when a lot of them are struggling to keep their own doors open. As you all know it takes a huge... community investment to put on a performance and we feel it would be too much to ask. We hope to be back on track for 2021, and are also thinking of a smaller event later on in the year. We will keep you posted if we are able to move forward with any plans at a later date. What an exciting day we had on Day 3 of the Alberta Winter Games! I had the lovely Kylie Windo, Miss Benalto Stampede, join me in doing medal presentations to t...he figure skating champions. We then made our way to Fencing, where we learnt all about the sport and even got to practice our new skills on each other My day finished off at the Athletes Takeover which where it was amazing to see all of the different zones coming together.
