I feel like it's a good time to introduce myself to those of you whom I've yet to formally meet. It's always easy to assume things of each other when all we see is the curtain in front of their online profile, but for anyone that is curious, this is me: My name is Aja, you pronounce it like the continent Asia, but it's spelled like the Steely Dan album. If you get it wrong, I am not annoyed, I know I too have mispronounced a name or two in the past. I am beginning my 10th yea...r in the industry as a licensed Real Estate Agent. It is my career and what I do and although it's not 'who' I am, it certainly is an integral part of my life. It has afforded me opportunities to meet incredible people, hear their stories and in a small way become part of their next one. It has also given me the chance to start a family while continuing to work and show my daughters what is possible and that women don't always have to choose between raising a family and growing their career. I like all things that bring purpose and joy to my life like digging my hands in the garden, hot coffee in the morning, highway breeze on road trips and cuddles with my babies. I am gentle by nature but am fierce when it comes to representing my clients. (Fun fact: I've never lost a foreclosure case in court!) Did you know? Water can be seen in the old river channel that ran from the South Thompson River about where Silver Sage Campground is, behind the KIB Industrial Park, through where Mt. Paul Golf course is, then through where the old KXA race track is before entering the North Thompson. Before they filled & diked the channel and built up Mt.
