I am sorry for the delay. I am using a lap top and I have lost all my folders for church. I am now trying to retrieve them.

Why go to Church? ~ I absolutely love this If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this! If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it. If ...you're spiritually curious, there is still hope! A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. He wrote: "I've gone for 30 years now, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons, but for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time. The preachers are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all". This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column. Much to the delight of the editor, it went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: "I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this: They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!" When you are DOWN to nothing, God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible, and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical and our spiritual nourishment! IF YOU CANNOT SEE GOD IN ALL, YOU CANNOT SEE GOD AT ALL! B. I. B. L. E. simply means: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth! When you are about to share this to others, the devil will discourage you. So go on! Share this to people who are DEAR to you and TRUST GOD.

Written by Bro. Wayne Jackson Concerns About Communion and Contagions Over the last few days, I’ve had multiple conversations with church leaders about their Communion practices. Some of these folks were completely clear about why their churches practiced the Lord’s Supper the way they didtheir denomination outlined precise procedures or they had invested considerable energy into aligning their practices with their theological convictions. Others were less sure about why the...y did what they didthey had seen other churches conduct Communion in a way that seemed appropriate, so they did the same thing. Hovering over these conversations were news reports about the coronavirus; even if pastors aren’t too concerned about that specific disease, it’s gotten everyone talking about how certain Communion practicesdrinking from a shared cup, dipping bread into wine or juice through Intinctionmay or may not spread illness. With all of these conversations happening, it felt like the right time to share a few articles about Communion practices. First, we’re highlighting a piece by Craig Brian Larson in which he asks several respected pastors from various theological traditions about their approaches to the Lord’s Supper. Even if don’t plan to change your approach to Communion, I suspect you’ll find the questions Larson asks and the answers he receives interesting and helpful in solidifying your own theology and practice. Next, Stephen Ko, a pastor and former CDC medical officer, discusses the conversations his church had about whether to cancel or change the way they serve Communion in response to the coronavirus. Maybe you’re more worried about spreading the flu than the coronavirus, but I still think you’ll find Ko’s article to be a helpful reflection on how practical concerns and fears should and shouldn’t affect our church gatherings. Copied from source. Just a note from Ajax Here in Ajax we use plastic cups only and fresh juice. We started this at the time of the SCARS outbreak in 2003 and believe this is the best advice for the church. Then all the emblem holders are thoroughly washed and sprayed with vinegar, rinsed in hot water and dried ready for next Sunday. Blessings to all Steve
