The Battle of the Atlantic is incredibly important for Exeter to remember. Our Corps is named after the HMS Exeter and the town most of our shipmates live in is named after the HMS Ajax. We will always remember.

COVID-19 UPDATE The safety and welfare of all who participate in our program is always our top priority, as such, we take very seriously our responsibility to protect cadets from any real or apparent health or safety concerns. Upon careful review of a number of factors, including the potential for risk of exposure and further transmission of COVID-19, the Commander of the National Cadet and Junior Rangers Support Group has extended the cancellation of all cadet activities in...cluding local training through April 30, 2020. Prior to April 30, 2020, Cadet Corps will receive further direction on what is to come. We will continue to update you as we receive information. The safety of our cadets, staff and families are our top priority.

URGENT NOTICE As I am sure you are aware Covid-19 has become a very serious public health issue and we as a organization are taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. As part of this we need to take specific measures in the management of our activities. We are taking the following directive from National who has been monitoring the situation related to recent developments of the COVID-19 as it relates to activities in Ontario. With the significant de...velopments over the past 24-48hrs. In response to developments in the outbreak of the novel corona virus (COVID-19), Through the consultation of the NL Cadet Command Team the Natl CJCR Sp Gp has CANCELLED ALL CADET ACTIVITIES, including local training, for the next three weeks effective immediately. Further direction will be provided, including the potential for this cancellation to be extended prior to April 3, 2020 The ITE and the NL Cadet Command Team along with the National Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group (Natl CJCR Sp Gp) has been directed to adopt an aggressive posture to minimize personnel risk of exposure and to prevent the CAF and cadets from becoming a transmission vector. The saftey and welfare of all who participate in our program is always top priority, as such we take very seriously our responisbility to protect cadets and the CAF members and their families from COVID-19.
