To all of our customers, AJ Pumps & Water Treatment has been providing potable drinking water, water treatment solutions and sanitation services to over 10,000 customers within the Fraser Valley for over 20 years. This includes our residential and commercial customers along with agricultural applications both inside and outside of municipal water supplies. We understand the importance of these services and continue to be committed to the health and well being of our customers... and our employees therefore, at this time we are staying open during the outbreak of COVID-19, with some changes. If you need filters, water tests, UV bulbs, salt, or other supplies, you are welcome to come by or phone us and we can have whatever you need, ready for you in the lobby of our store. We ask that you please help us keep everyone safe and maintain Social Distancing of two meters. If you prefer not to go out, call us! We are happy to deliver these products to your door. If you require a service call for maintenance, installation or repair we can send one of our service technicians to you. Again we ask everyone to continue to practice safe Social Distancing of two meters at all times. Also, if you are unwell, or on self quarantine, we ask that you contact the office to reschedule your service call to a later date. An update on sweet baby Oryn... It is now August 13th and 25 day-old Oryn Ivor Schmunk is doing better than ever. Still on an upward trend, he has managed to stay off of CPAP, with regular increases in feedings. He has been more and more active each day and is doing quite well learning how to orally feed. He goes in for his first MRI today at 2pm, thus concluding the vigorous testing they have had to perform on him. No serious results have come back yet, but, with him doing m...uch better, it is only a matter of a week or so before he will be ready to finally sleep in his very own home. Mom and dad have been patiently supporting him in his first great life struggle and couldn't be happier to hear that they can finally bring him home soon. There will be some feeding tube training, since he will still most likely need his gasal gastric tube for an indeterminable amount of time, as well as a solid amount of safe sleep testing to ensure he can sleep properly on his back without aspirating on potential spit-up. All in, there have been no more major steps in the wrong direction. Jared and Ottavia would both like to share their deepest thanks to everyone who has donated and supported them and their strong little man in their time of need, it has really made more difference than anyone might know, thank you so very much!
