We get that it's confusing, to newbies, Scribblers' Club and ParsonSweet are one and the same. We are flattered to have a past customers new owners commission an updated new identity. Out of respect for our dear friend Carl of CVS, the new owners guidance was to allow Carl's CVS mark to retire with his passing and to create something entirely new. There were some discussions about maintaining a maple leaf.

Thought it might be fun to take a stab at the new GM logo announced today. Sometimes I am bothered by what I see as poorly rationalized negative space. The new GM logo is a bit too Adobe looking for my tastes as well. For what it's worth, and accepting a couple of their design teams goals, is a kick at the can.

Having eaten at Marbles for years, (our wee King Street c1995 office was directly across the street - the entirety of the little brewhouse of Brick Brewery - we could point to our office on beer labels across Canada!) having eventually worked the Marbles menus, designed the new logo and designed and installed the updated sign and even been lucky enough to attend the awesome annual Bob and Bev boat cruise, it is with a heavy heart to see this long time established KW downtown eatery finally go down due to Covid. https://www.kitchenertoday.com//another-uptown-waterloo-bu
