Here is our first video to help you improve your thoracic spine mobility. Try 6-8 reps 2-3 times a day and let us know what you think.

Okay everyone, please post below what area of the body that you would like to see some stretches and strengthening exercises for as we all stay home and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

With the COVID-19 virus in the news, we want to ease your concerns and share what we are doing in order to keep ourselves and our patients safe. We are continui...ng to follow all Coastal Health standards. In our clinic, all linens are changed between every patient, surfaces wiped/disinfected, hands hygiene is that of industry standard (before and after each treatment and after handling used linens), door knobs, POS terminals and reception areas are sanitized regularly as well as all common surfaces. We would like your help in continuing to minimize infection by encouraging you to use hand sanitizer or please wash hands with soap and warm water in the rest room upon entry to the clinic. If you are feeling unwell, please call us to reschedule, we will be waiving the 24-hour cancellation fee during this time. We will keep you posted as we follow direction from our government resources. Otherwise we will continue to be open for business and appreciate your continued trust and support. Thank-you again for trusting us for your care.

A miscarriage can trigger PTSD. We can play a key role in helping our patients through losses, physically and emotionally. No matter how early the loss, remember to check in and support whichever way you can. #acupuncture #PTSD #miscarriage #pregnancy #Squamish

Happy Tuesday! Hope you're enjoying the beautiful weather; certainly makes the isolation better in my world. But I want to give you a progression from our first Gluteus Medius exercise. Hope you find it helpful. I promise to be back with more stretching next time!

Ako Collaborative Health 07.03.2021

Gluteus Medius: time to activate! I will come back with some stretching, but wanted to give you some dynamic stuff too. As always, excuse the self video quality, and let me know if you have any questions.
