Animal Liberation Alliance London 17.11.2020

HERE WE COME! Saturday Sept 26th we soft launch at the Western Fair Market 8am to 3pm! Getting up and running with all the products you want to see here is goin...g to take some time and once we are at full capacity we will have a Grand Opening event but for now we will have enough great vegan products to make your trip worth while! Why shop with Plant Power Solutions? * 10% of our profits goes directly to supporting the residents at Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary. A wonderful charity that has a special place in our hearts. * We focus on local products to support vegan people behind vegan businesses! In my time trying to be a distributor, I’ve found just how difficult it is to try to get main stream stores to put vegan products on shelves. We want to be an incubator for local vegan businesses. Supporting us, supports a chain of like minded people so that our ideals and values thrive. * We partner with our suppliers on environmental initiatives to reduce packaging by using reusable totes to transport products reducing the amount of cardboard being used in shipping. We also encourage suppliers to package products in minimal individual packaging so that we can reduce the amount of plastic and paper being used. We then transfer those savings on packaging to our customers! As we are the southern Ontario distributor of Veggie Paradise products, we are happy to be able to bring you their complete line of products! That’s over 20+ frozen meats available! We will also have an introductory amount of Main Vegan Deli meats and cheeses available on opening day! We can’t wait to see everyone. Please drop by in the following weeks as we scale up our operations toward a Gran Opening. We want your feedback and recommendations for products YOU want to see at OUR community vegan shop!

Wow - one million people gathered last Saturday in Berlin for freedom and human rights, and the mainstream media all lied and said that the rally was prevented by the police. Would be great to get a million gathering in every country for freedom and human rights. Without that, we can't have a movement for animal rights. And without animal rights, we'll lose our human rights, as we see happening.

Inspiring to see Robert F. Kennedy Jr. speaking up on Saturday in Berlin in support of human freedom and dignity during this rise of worldwide tyranny. Wish he would've encouraged everyone to reject speciesism and stop human tyranny over animals, which is the underlying problem.

Today, in honour of the World Day for the End of Speciesism (to learn more about this please visit: https://www.end-of-speciesism.org/en/), we are launching a p...rofound series of Survivors of Speciesism, which we will roll out daily. These graphics will highlight some of the many individuals who have been rescued and who now safely reside in forever homes. Over the last several months, we have gathered photos of nonhuman persons who have survived speciesist industries, where they consider them property. These nonhuman persons now are living in places like sanctuaries or in homes with wonderful human caregivers, where they are being respected and their needs and interests as sentient beings are being met. As long as nonhuman persons are considered property, or, beings over whom we have dominion, humans will always find ways to exploit them. We must challenge their current status as property and work towards ensuring their rights are protected under the law, as ‘persons’. We will be sharing the stories of each nonhuman person in a different light than what most of us have been used to. Our hope is that we can begin to see these survivors, share their stories, and be inspired and motivated to persevere (regardless of the obstacles), to achieve a world where all nonhuman persons are liberated, free and respected. NOTE: In an effort to protect the safety of the survivors and their human caregivers, we ask that you not mention where they reside. Their safety and security is of utmost importance and we encourage people to respect this request. We welcome you to share the stories and graphics of the survivors and help educate and introduce people to these breathtaking individuals. They all have unique stories and personalities and they have the power to speak to all of us in many ways, compelling us to act on their behalf. To begin the launch of this exciting campaign, today we start with this dynamic duo; brothers, and all around sweethearts; EMILIO and RICARDO, who are Saanan goats. They are typically used for dairy operations, but of course boys do not produce milk. Emilio and Ricardo were scheduled for market but another sanctuary was able to intervene and bring in many of the unwanted day old boys. Miraculously, among them were Emilio and Ricardo, who survived at 3 days old, without being disposed of. The boys developed ORF, which is a virus that causes oral ulcers, and underwent an anti-viral treatment at just 5 and 7 days old. They recovered well, and have grown up thinking they're four legged humans. At 2 1/2 years old, they live freely, among their many friends, in their forever home. **To learn more about sanctuaries and how you can support them, please visit the Association Of Farmed Sanctuaries Ontario website at https://www.ontariofarmsanctuaries.org/ #endspeciesism #personnotproperty #survivorsofspeciesism
