Newest addition to Port Maitland ..check it out !!! This anchor was found by Derek Thomas on the " Never Ashore " as he was lobster fishing on Trinity Ledge 6 miles West of Port Maitland at the mouth of the Bay of Fundy in only 25 ft. of water. His anchor caught this one , what a catch..Derek requested the help of Jim Rose from Rose Valley Excavation. Jim and his backhoe delivered this treasure to K. Yvette Linklater at the " Hook 'n' Sea Craft and Gift Shop on Rt. # 1 in Port Maitland.. Yvette is planning to research this gift, and display it at her shop.
