out 2020! oh there were up, and for sure there were downs. but overall it was still a really great year! i’m so incredibly thankful for you. for each & every one of my beautiful clients who trusted me to document their stages in life this year. so here’s to 2021, friends! we got this!!

Although this summer wasn’t exactly how I anticipated it would be (thanks covid ) it was still filled with so much great stuff. We did a lot of camping, I did a fair amount of sessions, we completed some little house projects, & made a ton of a great memories. So yes, I’m sad summer will be leaving us soon, but I’m going into fall hopeful & excited about what’s ahead!

Completely unrelated to the photo, but last night I definitely remember putting my hair in a braid before bed. Woke up this morning with my hair elastic around my wrist this is not the first time it’s happened lols. Anyone else undo their hair-do in their sleep?! Or just me

spending time with other photographers is always such a life-giving experience! i feel like we all have different gifts we can learn from one another- it’s such a special thing! so choose to encourage those around you! whether they’re learning the ropes of photography or are way more experienced than you- deciding to cheer each other on instead of competing is so much more rewarding! community over competition. always.

anyone else struggle to find hobbies as an adult..?? i mean, i’ve got quite a number now- which is amazing. but i feel like it’s more difficult to have hobbies as an adult. maybe it’s just me. help a girl out- share your hobbies below!! i’m thinking of taking up tennis- anyone want to join me??

finally had a day without rain!! anyone else so ready for some stinking hot weather?? although i must say, i’m loving that we’re not having to breathe in smoke this summer. i’ll take rain over forest fires for sure!
