Skincare Saturday O M G ... I found the missing key to my skincare regimen I have to admit, when I heard another makeup remover was being announced, I was excited but I didn’t have high expectations for it. I mean, it’s only job is to remove makeup, right? So why would I be jumping for joy ... But boy was I ever wrong. First off- this isn’t just a makeup remover. It’s a cleansing balm. An oil based cleanser in fact. Preached by the magical Korean Skincare 8 step routine you hear of. A routine that always starts with an oil base cleanser BEFORE a water soluble cleanser. Because they have two totoally different jobs! The first time I ever used this, I was SHOCKED at how my skin felt. Sooooo soft and hydrated, like I had been lathering it in all the best serums and moisturizers for years. That had me intrigued. But the real part I was amazed by was waking up every morning to clearer, pore-less skin. I couldn’t figure it out!!! The only thing I had changed was this balm. So I started to research to figure out what the heck was in this stuff that my skin was loving so much. And it turned out to be olive oil, grape seed oil and sunflower oil- all oils that HELP reduce acne, high in antioxidants and retain moisture in the skin. All natural and good for your skin ... and no synthetic fragrances! I literally could go ON AND ON about this stuff because I am just blown away what 2 weeks has done for my skin. Who would have thought JUST a makeup remover would be my newest favourite skincare product?!
