Story time: I've been having this reoccuring dream that covid 19 goes away but I have forgotten how to dress myself and kids properly. So we go into town dressed in Pj's and I feel super embarrassed. Needless to say I got dressed and put on make up today for the first time in a while and it FEELS good! Has anyone else been changing from night time pajamas into clean daytime pajamas? Happy weekend friends! It's me Alanna!! I just wanted to say hi to my new followers and a little thanks to your support. Here's some fun Saturday facts about me: 1. I spent countless Saturdays growing up at Basketball and Volleyball tournaments. Not only my own but also my watching my siblings play as well.... 2. My favorite way to spend a weekend evening is snuggling up and watching a movie with a big bowl of popcorn and treats. 3.Nothing feels better to me than spending a Saturday deep cleaning. Especially if that means relaxing in a clean house Saturday night. 4. My ideal date night out would usually be to do something active and fun. But honestly at this point in the pandemic any kind of date would be amazing as long as it meant kid free night. Did anyone else have a hard time making resolutions this year? This might be old news for others but I have had an extremely difficult time making goals at the beginning of this year. I've loved reading about the different resolutions that other have posted and pledged but it's been very difficult for me to make any of my own. ... After this year I've recieved a few hard knocks just like most people have. So making optimistic intentions to set my focus for the year felt different than usual. I want to be realistic and make attainable goals but also understand that I have no idea what this year is going to look like. So I've hesitated until now to set any resolutions. Every year I pick a word for the year to set my goals around. This year I think it's appropriate to pick the word health. I want to focus on my mental, physical and financial health. Maintain healthy boundaries and make better healthy choices. This is the really the only thing I'm worried about. I'm not concerned about anything specific. I just want to ask myself, is this habit the best for my health? Yes or no? Is making new years resolutions immediately on time good for my mental health? No?
