Sorry, everyone, opening is delayed this morning as we are at the RCMP station- my purse was stolen sometime last night!! The fun just doesn’t seem to stop around here...

After a lot of soul searching and deliberation, it is with a great deal of sadness that Shawn and I announce we will be closing Full of Beans PlayCafe. The last 3 1/2 years have been an amazing journey for us, and we have loved getting to know every single one of our customers- especially those who now feel more like family- and watching all your littles grow! Our own health struggles and the financial atmosphere right now have just made it too difficult to keep going. If you hold a punch pass with us, the unused plays are valid through January 11, which will be our last day. But even if you don't, please visit anyway! We would love to see as many of you as can come by between now and then, just to say thanks for supporting us!

We will be closed today Monday December 16th for Christmas Shopping! :)

Good morning Port Alberni! Well are you feeling down because of the gloomy, grey, rainy weather outside? I have just the thing to lift you spirits here at Full of Beans Play Cafe. I cooked up one of my faviorate recipes for you..... Italian saussage and roasted red pepper soup with bacon! Take a trip to Tuscany and let your senses go wild with just enough heat to warm you up. Our annual PJ and Decorating Day will be Monday, December 23rd this year- mark your calendars, and don't miss out!

Full of Beans will be closed Saturday December 7th for cleaning. We will open again Monday at 9 am as per normal.

Due to a lack of coffee (our roasters have been on vacation, and are now awaiting a bean delivery!) and the need to escort our exchange student to her dental appointment this morning, the cafe will OPEN at 1PM today! Good morning Full of Beans family. The last few days it has been cold in here due to our heat pumps. We have finally resolved the issue once and for all. I am comfortable this morning inside wearing a T-shirt. I am sorry for anyone who did not have an optimal experience due to our faulty heat.
