ADFA UPDATE After several difficult months that have involved a lot of adaption, waiting, and learning, Alberta Drama Festival Association is happy to announce that we are moving ahead with the 2021 Regional Festivals and Provincial Festival! Each region will go ahead with planning a festival within the limits of public health guidelines and the requirements of the venues.... Thank you to previous rep Hanna Fridhed, who will stay on as the Secretary of the Board and general member of the North Zone planning committee.

2020 Regional and Provincial Festivals cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak. As we continue to monitor the updates and advice from our government and public health authorities, and given the rapidly changing developments regarding COVID-19, the ADFA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel all 2020 Regional Festivals as well as the Provincial Festival, previously scheduled for May 22-23. We take the safety and health of our volunteers, artists, patrons, and ...community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow recommended guidelines from local health authorities, Health Canada, and the Alberta Health Services. We would like to thank all our volunteers and artists who have been working hard on their productions for this year’s one-act festival season.
