ANNOUNCEMENT: 2021 ALBERTA PROVINCIAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM - BMX The ABA is now accepting applications for the 2021 BMX development team, which will consist of a maximum of 16 positions. Selected athletes will be given the opportunity to attend specified races and camps. ... All Athletes requesting a team selection must submit a written request letter and resume of race results for the 2019 (at minimum) season to the Alberta Bicycle Association (email to [email protected]). Applications for the 2020 season will be accepted until December 31, 2020. The final team will be named on or before Feb 1, 2019. Attention Coaches! The ABA is looking for coaches to work with the BMX High Performance Team in 2021 on a contract/per project basis. Coaches will be supported by the ABA High Performance Coach for each project, with projects including training camps, racing camps, Canada Cups, and National Championships. Coaches must be NCCP trained, have a valid coaching license, and fulfill the other qualifications listed in the formal announcement here: http://www.albertabicycle.ab.ca/202...1-bmx-provincial-team-co This is a great opportunity for coaches looking to build experience and/or those unable to commit to a full time coaching position.
