Gull Lake Golf Course What a neat hidden gem!! This is a 9 hole course with only Par 3’s, the greens and surrounds are just as good as any other golf course with some big bunker faces, deep grass bunkers, and of course the greens being so unique with so much slopes to them and making putting so interesting. The course is set up for low to high handicap golfers making it extremely fun for any type of golfer looking for a quick 9 holes of challenging and fun golf. I also can’t forget about how amazing the price and people are out here making this course as good as it is! Currently my favourite Par 3 course in Alberta. #GullLake #Central #AlbertaGolfJourney

Lacombe Golf & Country Club Another great course in Central Alberta, I for sure will come back and play this next summer. The fall conditions out here are so good and at a good price! With some surprising elevation throughout the course and trees outlining every fairway makes for an enjoyable round. Greens were rolling great and the par 3’s are the highlights of this course in my opinion #Lacombe #Central #AlbertaGolfJourney

Today marked another milestone for me! I have officially played every single public golf course in Edmonton and area. (Only have 6 private clubs left!) Stewart Creek Golf & CC My new favourite Alberta mountain course.. played here yesterday through sun, snow, and rain for another one of the fan choices. This is the true definition of a mountain course. Designed by Gary Browning this is one of the top courses in the province. The design was so unique using the side of the mountain and land within to shape holes through rock and other obstacles made this course unique. The elevation and backviews of Canmore make for some impressive tee shot looks. The conditions were more than perfect, the course has short holes that you can go at and some long holes which make for a long hole, great diversity throughout the course making it use every club in your bag. Highlands Golf Club Thanks to Kevin MacAlpine for getting Alberta Golf Journey out to play one of the best private courses in Edmonton. The conditions were unreal out here. This is one of the oldest clubs and you can easily tell with the massive trees outlining most of the fairways. The feeling of being very secluded in the river valley gives it that private feel. With some amazing views of downtown and great elevation changes makes this club extremely enjoyable to play. My fav hole is the first picture here with the hole coming straight into the steep bank into the clubhouse, hole 18. #Highlands #AlbertaGolfJourney
