APAC member Curly Walz passed away on Tuesday March 24th, 2020 at the age of 88. Curly held the status of Pioneer Member having been in the club circle for fifty-three years. Our thoughts and sympathies go out to his partner Marj Schell and their family at this difficult time. Details for Curly's memorial service will be forthcoming at a later date.

To all APAC members, In light of the current Covid-19 health threat looming before us, notice is hereby given that all APAC meetings, tours and activities will be cancelled until further notice. We hope that everyone makes it through these uncertain days without incident. Updates and announcements will be sent out to all members as the need arises. Due to the Government of Alberta mandate of cancelling gatherings to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Calgary Thunderbird Club is postponing our silent auction that was to be held April 2nd, and moving it to June. Stay tuned for further information.
