I am a little late to the party but isn't this an amazing photo. This mom does such an amazing job every year of capturing her babies.

Sushi's owner is trying to cover all her bases in the hope that someday they will be reunited. Sushi was lost from the Arnprior/Braeside area of eastern Ontario on July 11, 2015. She has has been looking for her constantly since then. There have been sightings of her but she is being very elusive. The owner believes that there is a chance that she could have been picked up and taken out of Ontario because Arnprior is on a busy truck route out of the province and it is close ...to a popular tourist region. Here is some information about Sushi to help you identify her: 1. she is a tricolor, spayed, 10 year old retired show dog. 2. she isn't microchipped but she does have a tattoo on her flank. The number is CJO11X. 3. she is 14" tall at the shoulder with a white left knee, a white tip on the end of her tail and white on her muzzle. 4. she has a perianal fistula on the left side of her rectum. Does she look familiar to anyone?

Tuukka is looking for his forever home! Tuukka is a gentle, timid sheltie. His nature is to hide when nervous so his crate is his safe spot. He eats, sleeps and retreats to it any time he is not comfortable. His new owner will need to be comfortable keeping his crate available for him all the time. He is rather afraid of men and prefers women. He is afraid of kids as he has not had much exposure around them. He is ok with cats but does not interact with the dogs in hi...s foster home and is intimidated by them. He will stay in the same room or the yard with them, but does not offer to play and retreats instantly if they make an offer of play. He is tolerant with the other dogs but is not offering to make friends. He is a resource guarder and will guard his crate, toys and food from the other dogs with little growls. His new family should understand about resource guarding. Tuukka is a gentle affectionate boy with his favourite people. He takes treats gently, loves a bum scratch and is warming slowly to cuddles. If he is not comfortable with something he will not eat and will not take treats. When he is comfortable he will happily accept treats. Tuukka knows sit and does. He does not heel but walks in front and doesn’t yank on the leash. His recall is good in the yard however he should not be trused off leash out of the yard. He follows his foster mom everywhere and is always by her side. Tuukka does not usually get on the furniture. He sleeps in his crate, currently in the living room. This is his choice as there is one in the bedroom for him as well. His new owner will need patience with him to allow him time to adjust. He needs a quiet home as he doesn’t like raised voices shouting or banging. He is also a bit nervous of fireworks and thunder. Best if he is indoors, when these are around. He barks quite a bit in the yard at the neighbours barky dogs. Tuukka will be a lovely, quiet, gentle companion for his new person. He is only six and has plenty of energy but is not demanding and does not run around all the time. Tuukka will suit a single person or couple with no kids around and no other dogs. He will be a gentle, loving, and undemanding companion for someone who doesn’t mind a little shadow. He does not seem to require a lot of exercise although regular play sessions in the yard, or walks are needed for his health and well being. Because he is nervous on walks a fenced yard is a must for exercise. We hope that with time he will be happy walking out. Tuukka’s ideal family: Has no children and no other pets Is patient with him and will is willing to take time to allow him to adjust and adapt to his new environment Has a fully fenced yard Will ensure he is securely leashed/harnessed when outside of fenced areas as he may be a flight risk Understands guarding behaviours
