#AirTag It is a small button-shaped tracking tag just released by Apple allows you to track your possessions using the ‘Find My’ iPhone app. Using ‘Find My’ app... with Voice Over, you can easily confirm that your possessions are with you, or hear their location address from the map. The feature that sets AirTags apart from other item trackers such as Tile is precision finding. This will direct you to your tagged item using sound and haptic feedback. As you approach, the vibrations get stronger, and Voice Over can announce your distance from the item. This is particularly useful for VIP as the iPhone can direct you straight to your bag, keys or any other possessions from across a room. Note that precision finding only works with iPhone 11 and newer models due to the ultra wide band chip. Currently AirTags are only compatible with your personal possessions, but it will be exciting to see their potential for things like indoor way finding for VIP in the future. We are very excited to see what the future holds for this technology. What do you think? Let us know in comments . #Apple #Technology #FutureTechnologies #Accessibility #VisuallyImpaired #VIPWorldServices

What is Rubik's Tactile Cube? It's a Rubik's Cube that's been enhanced with embossed shapes! By adding shapes to the colored sides of the cube, the Rubik's Tactile Cube is now playable (and solvable! ) for those with visual impairments or with your eyes closed. The six colored sides are the same Rubik's colors found on a standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube. Each participant in the Alberta Braille Challenge was provided with a Rubik's Tactile Cube to take home provided by ASVI Calgary.
