Volunteer Firefighter Kyle Pichette, Rocky View County Fire Services Langdon Station 111 One day I saw the posting on the sign by the hall and having freshly moved to town thought what a good way to meet new people and get involved in the community. After being involved in the Slave Lake fire and not being able to do anything about it as a civilian, it motivated me into wanting to become a firefighter. Shortly after moving to Langdon, and seeing the large sign Volunteer Firefighters Wanted beside the fire hall advertising the position, I thought here’s my chance and what a great way to get involved in the community and meet new people.
