I had no interest in ship ownership... until... two disasters happened in one week that involve ships.... From an explosion at a port in Beirut to a ship sinking in Mauritius, why is this happening? Turns out, the way we ship can be improved. Flags of Convenience (and safety) is one big way. The following video is oversimplified, but the point is very clear: it's too easy to put a ship in the ocean. And it shouldn't be this easy.

Dear Pain, Real Pain Deserves Respect Pain Demands to exist... Pain teaches so we must learn from it.... Physical, Psychological, and Emotional, Your negatives are almost uncontrollable. Pain can be silent, Pain can be loud, Pain can be constant, and Pain can be dull inside out. Pain causes your normal frequency to distort. The distortion sends signals of fury. Pain weakens the spirit of joy to contort. Eating away at your courage and glory. With Pain, comes innovative solutions from suffering. Without Pain, there could be no limits. Pain binds you to the boundaries of confinement. Without Pain, you would not know the heights Joy. Yet pain paves the paths of caution. Without pain, there could be further injuries. Constant Pain braves the afflictions of depression and suffering. Without it, you may take love and happiness for granted. Pain shapes you to new norms. Without Pain, you could not be humbled in such ways Pain can be funny because it is the Truth. Without Pain, you might have too much courage and be fooled. Because Pain will lash out hurt at an injury to break and bruise. So without it, you would not know you are injured or used. Pain Demands your Acknowledgment! Real Pain Demands your attention. Now I just want to say to Pain's punishments, Thank you PAIN! You are there whenever you need to be. Whether I like it or not. I know exactly where to find your spot. Whether it's cold, or whether it's hot! I know your strengths, as strong as you are. I know you are brave, so wicked and hard. I know your weaknesses, so fragile I'll remain.
