Church Family Bible Study on Wednesday, Nov 7 at 7:00 PM! This will be our last study in the Letter of Jude. Here are some questions to consider for Wednesday Bible Study, November 25 at 7:00 PM 1. What is a doxology? We get the English word ‘glory’ from the Greek ‘doxa’.... 2. What is God able [dunamis] to do? Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Check out some of these complementing verses: Luke 3:8; Romans 4:21; 14:4; 16:25; Ephesians 3:20-21. 3. What is God able to do for His people according to Jude 1:24? 4. What does it mean to stumble? 5. How can God keep us from stumbling? 6. What is it to be blameless? 7. How can we be presented as blameless before God who knows all about our sin? 8. Is there more than one God (v. 25)? 9. How is the only God described (v. 25)? 10. How may we approach the only God? 11. What has Jesus done for us that we may come into the presence of the only God who is ‘holy, holy, holy?’ 12. What is God worthy of (v. 25)? 13. How long is God worthy of all these things (v. 25)? Jude 1:24-25, 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

10 Things That God is Able to Do! 1. Daniel 3:17, If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. 2. Daniel 4:37, Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.... 3. Luke 3:8, Bear fruits in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 4. Romans 4:20-21, 20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. 5. Romans 14:4, Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 6. Romans 16:25, 27, Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages 27 to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. 7. 2 Corinthians 9:8, And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 8. Ephesians 3:20-21, 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. 9. 2 Timothy 1:12, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 10. James 4:12, There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

Two Wonderful Things That Jesus is Able to do for His People Hebrews 2:18, For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 7:25, Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.... Amen!

An Important Link Between Jesus' Words & Answered Prayer Reading God's word and meditating on it will enable us to pray much more effectively. Mature Christians of all ages and cultures have learned over time to 'pray according to Scripture.' Consider what Jesus said in John 15. John 15:7, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."... This is a great promise to take to heart and thus it is vital for us to fill our hearts and minds with the words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
