I'm not sure if anyone is feeling like me....but I absolutely can't wait to travel again Will it be soon? One day I'm thinking "yes", the next day I'm thinking "no way..am I crazy"? As many other industries are..the travel industry is hurting, and trying to figure out, the best way to go about this whole travel situation. The last couple of weeks, we have received updates from travel suppliers who will now be providing COVID-19 travel insurance. Air Canada Vacationswill i...nclude COVID-19 travel insurance on select packages to Mexico and the Caribbean. Air Canadawill include COVID-19 travel insurance on international travel(with exceptions). Manulife Insurance will offer a COVID-19 Pandemic Travel Plan, which will be available to Canadians travelling in Canada and Internationally(with exceptions). But, is this enough to get you packing?? It's hard to know. As I reflect on these last few challenging months..I am also looking forward to the fall. I have always felt that back to school, is a great time to start fresh. For all you cruise lovers, the CDC has extended its No Sail Order for cruise ships. The order now prevents ships from sailing through September 30, 2020. Sadly, data has revealed that a total of 99 outbreaks, occurred on 123 different cruise ships!! CLIA(Cruise Lines International Assosciation) agree with the CDC, in their commitment to public health and safety, as they work towards the development of enhanced protocols to support the safe resumption of cruise operations ar...ound the world. Wow...I thought this was pretty interesting... Can you imagine working in Barbados for a year Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley announced that they were planning to introduce a "12-month Barbados Welcome Stamp" that would allow visitors to stay for up to a year and work remotely On July 12, Barbados started welcoming visitors back. And Air Canada was right on board, resuming service to Barbados from YYZ As of last week, Barbados announced that the country no longer has any active coronavirus cases.
