Alcom Donates City-Wide Radio Coverage to Bear Clan Patrol - the following is written by James Favel- Executive Director of Bear Clan Once again, Garry and Reid Smith from Alcom Electronic Communications have stepped up to support Bear Clan Patrol in a big way. Today they retuned our 18 existing 2-way radios from two to three channels to support our growth into the West End and West Broadway communities in the new year. They have also donated a further six radios today. These new radio’s have a fourth channel that can reach city wide!! Reliable communications in the field is how we stay safe! Thank you for your continued support!
Emergency radio system project Sometimes a very rewarding project comes along to a business, and to its staff ... one in which we get to make a small contribution to the safety of our communities and to the safety of the brave men and women who serve as our firefighters and paramedics. Alcom has been selected to design, program, install, and service a sophisticated radio/dispatch/and tracking solution for emergency incident command vehicles. The photo is of one of the vehicles that was at our Alcom location this morning for installation planning purposes. As we often say to public safety members that come through our office - "Be Safe".

Alcom making a third equipment donation to support Bearclan Patrol -- James Favel - Alcom wants to make another equipment contribution to your organization - we read that you are expanding to assist the good people of Selkirk Manitoba. Towards the end of August we will donate another 6 Motorola two-way radios and a charger to use as you see fit here in the City and/or in Selkirk. We are also going to donate some remote speaker microphones for your radios in the City to make them easier to use in the cold winter months (you can keep the radio under your coat and just have the mic and cord extended for use). Keep up the great work .... your friends at Alcom appreciate everything you and your organization do for our communities. Garry Smith
