Poor workmanship at its finest. This building will have a big problem in years to come if the insulation problem is not fixed. We can see these problem with the proper equipment and training. Contractor Fail. www.aldercreekinspections.com

Inspections are not just for purchasing a home. This home had an addition added above the kitchen. We found water leaks along with insulation problems. This ha...s also created structural problems. This is not an inexpensive repair. It pays to have a look at your home by a qualified inspector. BIG FAIL www.aldercreekinspections.com See more

Love catching these. Client was told they had the insulation blown into all the wall cavities and every wall cavity was filled. Might want to call them back. Obviously areas missed. I find these problems more often than people think. www.aldercreekinspections.com

Who would have thought an old car jack could hold up a 2 story house. 4 unstable post to a car jack to a 6 beam to the wood beam. Sometimes when doing inspections you can only shake your head.

Buying a home without an inspection is like playing roulette. I know it’s difficult to go in with a conditional offer.

RENOVATION FAIL, this renovation looked beautiful until i pulled out the Infrared Camera. Cheating on the insulation can only lead to problems with Moisture, Mold, etc problems down the road. I am guessing the seller did not think someone would look past the nice paint job.

When doing inspections it pays to have the right equipment. What you see is the bottom picture and what i see is the top picture. When there is poor or no access good equipment and proper training is an asset.

Handyman Fail. Putting higher amperage power through the wrong size wiring. Basically this handyman was creating a toaster element out of the electrical circui...t. There is no possible way to see this problem without the proper training and equipment. Or before it is too late. This is a house fire in the making. See more

Moisture in the Ceiling? Most would think so. Once i find an anomaly, that's when the work actually begins Actually this shows leaky cold air ducting in a basement ceiling spilling cold air into the area of insulation between floor.
