Down Syndrome is caused by the presence of a third copy of chromosome 21. As you might have noticed, socks have a striking resemblance to chromosomes! To celebrate the uniqueness of each individual with down syndrome, we're asking everyone to participate in our "lots of socks" event TOMORROW (Tuesday) by wearing bright, colourful socks!
