What’s your riding fitness goals for 2021?! Mine. Well even though I’m a personal trainer who dedicates my time to equestrian fitness I’ve gotten really lazy since covid and my riding is paying for it. So my goal is to get myself back to where I need to be! ... As a personal trainer I tell my clients that they need a good support system! So I’m looking for riders who will join me on my/our fitness adventure. No cost, but you must be willing to make the commitment, join in at the scheduled workout times, be a self starter and ready to make the necessary lifestyle changes. Workouts are body weight exercises and can be done in a living room or tack room If that sounds like you! Give me a shout. For those interested. I am planning on 3 days a week. Working different fitness areas thus giving muscles time to recover and heal between strength days even though workouts are consecutive days. As most of us are involved in horses, my guess was that evenings would be the most successful. Live-streams can be viewed later if your unable to make a workout. That’s were being a self starter comes in. The workouts will be progressive. The first few weeks we will not be counting reps but achieving best form quality over quantity. So it will be timed exercises. Also accountability; food logs if you keep food journal I can guarantee results! No using your scale after doing day 1 measurements and weight. You won’t need to ever share this information unless you want to! Get into that bathing suit and show off what your mama gave you! I want YOU to see the difference later! Please comment if interested; How often do you want to join in? What’s your fitness and riding goals? You can PM me if you rather not post publicly. Classes will be live-streamed on my YouTube channel at 6:30PM EST Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Starting tomorrow Tuesday January 5, 2021 6:30PM Classes will be saved for those who have missed a class or are located in a different time zone. I will post my YouTube channel link below. If you wish to receive the weekly meal plans, recipes and additional motivation be sure to send me a friend request and ask to be added to our private fitness group. https://youtube.com/channel/UCAh150c_bAtRCrDx4U9ucfg Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell for notifications.
Share share share. Let’s get this girl home. Missing from Grey rd 10 outside Scone area
Greatness can be found at any age, regardless of where you started; both equines and riders a like. Focus & Hard work will always pay off. Way to go Maddy. Looking forward to seeing where you go next.
To cute! Marry Christmas to one and all!
Posting for a friend. Located in Palgrave Ontario https://www.facebook.com/513471786/posts/10157614379881787/?d=n
This sweet girl is looking for a home. She’s only about two years old, we didn’t want to see her ship. She’s been placed in a temporary foster so ideally, the r...ight home will come along soon for her. She’s a stunning true black mare, looks like a quarter horse cross. She seems to be sound and in great physical shape. She’s halter broke, shy but sweet and curious. Standing approximately 14.2hh and well put together. She will make a nice little project for someone. Adoption fee is $750 to the perfect home. She’s a steal! https://form.jotform.com/201947807658266
When out in darker hours regardless of your activities please stay safe and visible.
I love listening to the horse. Every horse has a job it wants to do!
To all of the good riders out there
Lol I like this math

Great illustration of inside leg to outside rein. A great exercise to try; set up two poles on a 20 meter circle and let go of your inside rein. Inside leg keeps them from falling in and your outside aids to keep them from falling out. Stay quiet and low in saddle. Inside leg at girth, outside leg 4 (or so) behind the girth. ... Inside shoulder up and back (like spot check for lane change). It’s the outside bank of a river who controls the water; be like the water in the river, flowing inside to outside on every bend. Please help share to see if we can’t find her old horse.
Why I won’t start jumping training on horses younger then 7! Have I lost business because I won’t train a 4yr old to jump? You bet! Am I sadden by this? Nope! If you feel your horse is ready that’s on you, but I won’t take part in hurting your horses future!
Lots been going on around here! Driveway re surfaced (still need more but a good start). Drainage ditch around the barn finished with added water pipe set to the future pump/feed/tack house. Next on the block is the run in shed almost the full length of the barn on the east (river) Side. Thanks to Bruce Turner of MapleGrove Landscape for helping out with the job. ... When I’m ready to build the new rehabilitation stables I’m definitely having you do all the custom stone work!!! I highly recommend that anyone building or renovating a barn/stable to check him out! http://maplegrovelandscape.ca/ Amazing work Has a new FB page as well. Please help out by giving it a LIKE
Puppies available end of September. Looking for good farms where they can thrive and have a job. https://youtu.be/FQ33jqna4ZI
Such a huge breakthrough for this girl! She came to me last September, afraid of everyone, extremely hard to catch (I’m talking 6 people using lung lines in a round pen) and very head shy. She finally started allowing me to pet her in field back in mid April, still taking me an average of 10 minutes for her to stop and allow small amounts of affection. We just started our training early July and she has been coming leaps and bounds! So proud of her!!!... Love her!
Reward for anyone who brings my baby home!
Lessons outdoors can now resume Be sure to get your lessons and rain dates booked for the spring/summer sessions.
Happy Easter to all of our friends and family! Stay safe during this time of uncertainty and remember that because of the blood of Jesus we know we are saved.
