Had the pleasure of watching the Canada/USA women's game last night. It was an interesting watch. My take away - very skilled, hard working, competitive USA team versus a highly competitive, hard working team Canada. Team USA play resembles a male game & Team Canada a more female game. I am not sure if this is by design, but the difference was very evident. To relate this to goaltending, if I had a goaltender daughter I would be encouraging her to play on male teams for as long as she would feel comfortable playing there

Congratulations to long time AG student & UPEI goaltender Shaylin McFarlane on her first AUS win. Shaylin stopped 39 of 42 shots for the victory.
