When it comes to sports and athletes, AMS does better than just hold their own. Jayhawk teams are a force. Great student athletes are supported by great coaches. As the first quarter of the year wraps up, we want to acknowledge the many coaches who gave up their time to offer sport for Jayhawks’ athletes. This is especially meaningful in a year where we navigate COVID precautions. We want to shout out from the roof tops a HUGE thank you to our first round of coaches for football, cross country running and volleyball.. SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED! Crews have been out all night clearing school sidewalks and parking lots, now a number of our schools are without power. Due to power failures across the city, there will be no school for MHPSD students and school staff on Monday November 9, 2020.
