Do you have a hard time loving your body? Trust me. I get it. I used to have such a hard time loving and feeling comfortable in my body. I’ve struggled with that throughout my journey. Picking out little imperfections - legs too big, too much cellulite, not enough arm toning.. The biggest thing I realized is that bad body image didn’t come from how my body looked- but rather how I looked at my body. ... I wasn’t happy with my body because I wasn’t all that happy with myself and I internalized negative thoughts and feelings about myself onto my body- and my body didn’t deserve that. I started to remind myself of how amazing my body is, and all the truly great things it allows me to do! It took time- I still struggle but when I look at myself I see more than just my physical Body. I see everything I’ve been through- and am going through. Our bodies are amazing- and we shouldn’t take them for granted.
