Today marks the second day of my run from Ayr to Port Dover and what a day it was! I started off with a 8.5km run from Paris to the 403 off-ramp in Brantford. There, I met with the police and firefighters for an escort to the Brantford Hospital. The number of waves and honks along the way brought me such joy! After the 2.5km stretch, we arrived at the hospital and were welcomed by their staff. The CEO said a few words, before inviting me to read my speech. After the singing of O'Canada together to conclude our event, I was off to run another 5km. I will forever cherish the memories created today! #tryliketerry #2020vision

My mother and I head off today for a two day retreat in Cobroug and I couldn't be more excited! Our days will include yoga, meditation, cooking classes, reading, writing and enjoying each other's company. We have decided to disconnect from the outside world by leaving out cellphones behind. We set out in search of a simpler time and look forward to embracing every moment. Last week, during my roadtrip adventure with my sister, we made a stop to visit my grandparents. We parked our car in their backyard and set up camp for the night. During our time spent there, my grandma had a brilliant idea for promoting my book. Hayley, her and I painted and cut bookmarks to share with my readers.
