Just a reminder to all our members that the AGM starts in a littke over 90 minutes. We still have room to attend in person, so if you'd like to attend in person feel free to drop into the club house before 1.

Hi all, Just a few reminders of deadlines/events coming up in the next week. If you have not completed your Return to Curl survey the board is hoping to hear everyone's response by Friday so we have time to filter through the responses and react ahead of the AGM. There will also be the opportunity through the feed to asks questions. We look forward to seeing/hearing from everyone.

Hello everyone, these are difficult times particularly when we have lost a loved one. Please remember that St. Mary's will ...be limited to 30% capacity to avoid over-crowding and I believe there will be some arranged seating. If you are unable to attend, Fr-Louis Groetelaars has been kind enough to offer to live-stream uncle Coleman's funeral. Of course, many of us are struggling with technology so please have patience in case there's issues with buffering, loading, and the like. Father Louis will be posting on his personal Facebook page. Hello everyone, Please read the following important message from our Club President, Duncan Ferguson ... Earlier this week, I sent a notice indicating that we would reassess the status of the remainder of our curling season later this week. As restrictions and recommendations for social distancing have continued to mount over the course of the last few days, the board has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the season, and to terminate the ice this week. This is not a decision that we made lightly, but we feel it is the most responsible way forward for the health of our community and the financial wellbeing of our organization. We will look to host our trophy night as soon as it is again advisable to do so.

Good Morning everyone, please read this important message from our Club President Duncan Ferguson, As concerns with regards to the COVID 19 virus continue to mount, the board has made the difficult decision to suspend all club activities for a 2 week period, effective immediately. To be clear, we are not at this time cancelling the remainder of the season; we will re-evaluate the situation next week and make a decision regarding the remainder of the season at that point in ...time. Congrats to the GDHS Girls’ Curling team for making it through to the final round at EOSSAA. They placed 4th in a pool of 8 teams. Well done Gaels!
