Being in self-isolation for the past couple weeks has given me a lot of time to work on my photography. It's been a bit of a blessing in disguise actually! These photos I'm posting today have been on the back burner for some time. They're some of my favourites from my trip to Peru in November, so I wanted to get them right. They were taken early one morning, while having breakfast on the mountain side, moments before the most challenging few hours of my life! As some of you m...ay know, I'm a total perfectionist. I've spent hours staring these photos down, trying to find any little element I'm not 10000% happy with. I think I've finally come to the point where I can say that yes, I am in fact pleased. The artistic process can be a cruel and unforgiving one, but once you've got it, YOU'VE GOT IT.

The ocean surf can be rough and tough, but people still are drawn to it. I'm living for these shots! Textures was my favourite thing to photograph when I started my professional career.
