M A R K E T U P D A T E ||| Sales of waterfront properties numbered 239 units in October 2020. This was a large increase of 34.3% from October 2019. This was also a new sales record for the month of October.On a year-to-date basis, waterfront sales totalled a record 2,163 units over the first 10 months of the year. This was a large increase of 44.4% from the same period in 2019. The median price for waterfront property sales in October 2020 was a record $722,500, rising 26.5% from October 2019. The total dollar value of all waterfront sales in October 2020 was $248.8 million, a large increase of 71.9% from the same month in 2019, setting a record for the month of October.
