With January starting us off to a hot start in the Whistler market for 2021, I thought I’d share the most common question I get asked! What’s the difference between a Phase 1 and Phase 2 rental covenant? A Phase I Rental Pool Covenant is the least restrictive of the rental pool covenants because an owner is allowed unrestricted use of the unit. When the unit is not being used, it must be placed into a bona fide rental pool company for rental to visitors. A Phase II Re...ntal Pool Covenant is more restrictive in terms of owner usage because an owner is restricted to a total of 56 days of use (28 days in summer and 28 days in winter).
