A selection of shots of our 2005-06 men's volleyball team from our recently expanded archives. This squad won OCAA bronze and started a run of four straight years finishing with a provincial medal. More volleyball photos to come each Friday!

The 2018-19 edition of our men’s basketball team is the subject of today’s varsity flashback. This squad went 9-11 and produced a member of that year’s OCAA All-Rookie team; David Tshimanga. David led his team in scoring (13.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.1). #5yearFlashback

Our flashback today goes way back to the 2015-16 season and focuses on our men’s basketball team. That edition of the Thunder went 13-7 during the regular season and produced one 1st Team All-Star in Murphy Beya. #5yearFlashback

Four starters scored in double figures against Georgian and two-sport athlete Melissa Gilligan turned in a stellar all-around performance finishing with 16 points, 13 boards, 6 assists & 9 steals! #5yearFlashback

Today’s team flashback celebrates the 2016-17 Algonquin Thunder women’s volleyball team who went 15-3 during the regular season and produced three all-stars in Breanne Scheerhoorn and Julianna Tebrake (1st Team) and Rylee Leger (2nd Team). Bree was 2nd in the league in points/set that season, with an average of 4.3. Impressive! #5yearFlashback
