Christmas is just around the corner and we are getting into the holiday spirit. On December 9th at 6:00pm we will be hosting a virtual Christmas Tree lighting and hope that you and your family can join us, your ward Council members and Mayor electronically for stories, caroling, a message from the mayor and (fingers crossed) Santa. We will be lighting trees at the Oxtongue Lake Community Centre, village of Dorset and in Stanhope. All are welcome to attend electronically and more details on how to join will be sent out soon so please keep an eye out.

Public water fill up stations located at the Dorset Recreation Centre at 1051 Main Street in the village of Dorset and the Township of Algonquin Highlands Municipal Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed for maintenance starting 3:00pm on Friday November 27, re-opening at 9:00am on Monday November 30th. Public water will be available throughout this time at the Stanhope Municipal Airport Terminal building at 1168 Stanhope Airport Road.
