It would have been a beautiful weekend for Laurentian Valley Fall Flavours Festival but it was not to be. So since we are thinking of it...anyone doing extra preserving during the pandemic? If you are, make sure you save some to enter our Preserving Contest in 2021! It was pretty popular at last year's event and we are looking forward to seeing how it grows in 2021! Alice & Fraser Minor Ball is looking for volunteers for the 2021 season. If you can volunteer some time to make sure this league continues, the organizers would be very appreciative!

Public Notice: In an effort to encourage social distancing amid the COVID-19 concerns, the snowshoe trail alongside the skating trail is now closed for public use. We appreciation your cooperation and keep safe.

As per the Township's Emergency Management Team, to protect the safety of the community, Recreation Facilities will be closed until at least April 6th. All activities including private events are cancelled at this time. We thank you for your understanding as we all play a role in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Important information for the community.

The Night Skating Event scheduled for Sunday March 15, 2020 has been cancelled. The Skating Trail is also now closed for the year. The Snowshoe Trail remains open.

Don't forget to show your appreciation to all the volunteers for a wonderful skating season. Donation box is at the start of the trail.

The Skating Trail is currently closed due to the forecasted mild temperatures and precipitation. We would ask that trail users to please stay off the Skating T...rail to avoid further damage to the ice, including walking. We are hoping to reopen on Friday for the weekend when the temperature again cools. The snowshoe trail remains open. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We would ask that trail users to please stay... off the ice to avoid further damage to the ice. The trail will reopen later in the week when the temperature again cools. The snowshoe trail remains open. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

The Skating Trail is closed today Wednesday February 26th, 2020 due to the recent mild temperatures. We ask that users PLEASE keep off of the skating trail to prevent further damage. It is anticipated that the trail will reopen on Friday or Saturday.
